Professor Teik C. Lim Awarded the Chang Jiang Chair Professorship by China’s Ministry of Education
Professor Teik C. Lim delivered the Chang Jiang Scholar lecture on gear dynamics at the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission of Chongqing University, China.
The Chang Jiang Chair Professorship is awarded competitively to recognize internationally renowned scholars in a specific area of expertise and to foster international collaboration with an institution of higher education in China.
The award is given to Professor Teik C. Lim for his scholarly work in precision gearing transmissions and vehicle power-train noise and vibration. As a recipient of the Chang Jiang Chair Professorship, Lim will also serve as an academic and research advisor to Chongqing University, and direct a research team in the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission.
