Books about Eric Clapton
The following are some books that I own written about Eric Clapton or in some way dealing with Eric Clapton. I offer no review of these books and my owning them in no way is a recommendation for them. To me, the most interesting of the books is A Selection of Eric Clapton Guitars. This is a rather unique look at many of the guitars that Eric Clapton owned. There are many who complain about the books by Marc Roberty. I find The Complete Recording Sessions to be an interesting review of some of the many times Eric Clapton has been "officially" recorded. However, it is not an error free reference. The other five books by Marc Roberty and the book by Weiler are mostly photographs and other memorabilia. The other four books are biographies. The books by Coleman, Schumacher and Shapiro are mostly positive and the book by Sandford is more negative.
