Approved Course Substitutions Spring 2015

 

List of Generally-Approved Course Substitutions – Spring Semester, 2015 (15FS)

To assist graduate students and their advisors in course scheduling, the ME Graduate Studies Committee offers this list of allowable course substitutions which the committee recommends. This consists of the following:

  • Non-MECH courses from outside the program which the Graduate Studies Committee recommends as allowed course substitutions for MECH credit.

  • Recommended MATH-prefixed courses.

  • Non-MATH courses from within and outside the program which the Graduate Studies Committee

    recommends as allowed course substitutions for MATH credit.

    Please note that final approval authority for all substitutions rests with the student’s academic advisor. Approval is normally granted by signature on the Program of Study form; no other permission is required. Courses not appearing on this list are not necessarily excluded, and may be approved for substitution on an ad-hoc basis; in this case, a petition should be submitted to the Graduate Studies Committee.
