Mechanical Engineering PhD student Brent (Bernie) Rudd, P.E., has been awarded one of the 2009 Rindsberg Fellowships. All Rindsberg Fellows participate in the "Preparing Future Faculty" program operated by the College of Engineering Division of Graduate Studies. The purpose of this program is to prepare engineering PhD candidates for academic careers. The award is a fellowship in the amount of $8,000 per year, which supplements the graduate research stipend. Rindsberg Fellows also receive up to $2,000 per year for travel expenses to conferences, symposia, etc.
