Professor Jay Lee Recieves the College Research Award at the 2010 College of Engineering & Applied Science Awards Banquet

Professor Jay Lee, Ohio Eminent Scholar, L.W. Scott Alter Professor and Director of the NSF I/UCRC for Intelligent Maintenance Systems (IMS), received the College Research Award at the 2010 College of Engineering & Applied Science Awards Banquet, on May 14, 2010. This award is given each year to recognize a College Faculty Member for excellence in scientific research. Since bringing his IMS Center the University of Cincinnati in 2005, Professor Lee has formed partnerships with over 40 global companies and generated over $5 million in research funding, resulting in significant advances in the field of smart predictive maintenance and countless learning and research opportunities for his Master's and PhD students.

In addition to being recognized for his research, Professor Lee was also named Professor of Year in 2007 and Professor of the Quarter in 2008 by the Engineering Tribunal, showing his dedication to students inside the classroom, as well as out.
