Professor Teik C. Lim Elected Fellow of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)

lim.jpgProfessor Teik C. Lim has been elected a Fellow in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), which is the most prestigious elected grade of SAE membership. Election to Fellow signifies SAE-wide recognition of professional distinction and significant impact on society's mobility technology through extraordinary research, innovation and creative leadership in science, engineering, and technology. Specifically, Dr. Lim is recognized for his contributions to vehicle structural dynamics technology that includes innovative research in automotive noise and vibration control, precision gear dynamics, and spectral-based substructure models. Previously, he was presented with the SAE Ralph R. Teetor Educational Award and the SAE Arch T. Colwell Merit Award for contribution as an outstanding engineering educator and researcher. Dr. Lim will be formally recognized in the upcoming SAE 2006 World Congress.
