The AANM is a professional, academic and medical society dedicated to advancing research in nanomedicine. Goals of the Academy include providing a forum for scientific investigation, communicating new findings and encouraging collaboration among the diverse disciplines represented in Nanomedicine. Nanomedicine is the medical diagnosis, monitoring and treatment at the level of single molecules or molecular assemblies that provide structure, control, signaling, homeostasis and motility in cells. AANM serves as an environment for researchers to develop an d present novel concepts and new ideas in nanomedicine research regarding the chara cterization of molecular scale components known as nanomachinery in cells.
