Surendra awarded first prize in the PhD-level podium competition at SB3C-2017

Surendra Devarakonda, a second year PhD student from our lab, won the 1st prize (out of 120 students) in the PhD-level podium competition at the 2017 Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering, and Biotransport Conference, held in Tuscon, AZ, from June 21-24. He received an award amount of $400. The competition is judged based on the quality of the written paper as well as the oral presentation on the podium.  

The details of his winning paper are given below:
